COURSE DESCRIPTION
This unit addresses the skills and knowledge required to assess the competence of a candidate.
This half day workshop develops the skills and knowledge required to assess the competence of a candidate in a professional practice environment. Upon successful completion of this program a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment is issued.

- describe the concept of “competence”
- plan and prepare for the assessment process
- support the candidate during the assessment process and provide an assessment decision
- review the assessment process.
